Roof and Wall Panels

The most important area of a reinforced concrete or prefabricated building is the roof used to cover the building. Although these roofs are in various shapes, there are 8 types of roofs in general. These;

  • Single Pitched Roof
  • Hipped Roof
  • Hip Roof
  • L Type Hipped Roof
  • L Type Roof
  • T Type Roof
  • Single Slope Double Roof

They can be classified as Type A roofs.

The roof, which is the last foundation stone of the building, is the most important pillar of the building after the foundation. For this reason, the material and panels to be used in the roof will be selected from a quality material, and the isolation to be made in the event of wear will be an extra financial burden and a salvation from the moral damage to be seen.

If we separate the panels to be used on the roof according to their types;

  • 3 Ribbed
  • 5 Ribbed
  • with membrane
  • with CTP

We can separate.

3 Ribbed roof panels have a maximum insulation density of 40-42 kg/m3 and are generally produced from polyurethane material.

5 Ribbed roof panels can have a maximum insulation density of 90 kg/m3, unlike polyurethane, they can also be produced from rock wool and glass wool.

Membrane roof panels also have a maximum insulation density of 120 kg/m3 and are generally produced only from rock wool.

GRP roof panels are generally produced using 5-prong roof panels. It is able to distribute different loads equally from other panels.

A similar sensitivity to the insulation and construction of the roof panels is shown to the facade panels. Because the roof and facade panels are the elements that complete the building.

Facade panels are used in buildings to provide water, heat, coldness and sound insulation. At the same time, it undertakes a protective role in ensuring fire safety.

Generally, aluminum and galvanized sheet are used in the production of facade panels. Polyurethane and polyisocyanate are the most frequently used materials as filling material in facade panels. In some special cases, although rare, stone wool can be used.

Professional people should definitely do the assembly in the installation of facade and roof panels. Because no matter how high quality the material used is, if it is not assembled properly, it will not give the desired result.
